FirstLight Alarm privacy policy

Data the app can access

FirstLight asks for access only when a feature needs it. Alarm access is required to schedule an alarm. The other permissions are optional.

Home	Reading a room-temperature sensor you choose for optional sleep environment insights.	Room-temperature insights are unavailable.

What Orbit Tech collects from the app

Nothing. FirstLight has no developer-operated backend, third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or crash-reporting SDK. The app does not upload MetricKit diagnostics or StoreKit transaction identifiers to Orbit Tech.

• We do not sell data or share it for advertising.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We do not use health or sleep data for marketing or profiling.

Sleep analysis, trends, snore detection, and Apple Intelligence narration run on your device. FirstLight keeps local snore event details, such as the time and duration of a detected event, but not the recording.

Apple services

FirstLight uses Apple system services including AlarmKit, HealthKit, WeatherKit, HomeKit, StoreKit, and MetricKit. Information handled by Apple is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. FirstLight does not add a separate developer server to these features.

Accounts and support

FirstLight has no account system. If you email support, we receive your email address and message. We use that information to answer you and handle your request. Please do not email health records, audio, or other sensitive information.

Diagnostics and analytics

FirstLight processes limited performance and thermal diagnostics on your iPhone. These diagnostics are not uploaded to Orbit Tech. The app has no product analytics or tracking.

Data retention

• On your device: alarm settings, sleep history, wake events, and snore event details stay in the app until you delete them or remove the app. Free and Premium retention can differ as described in the app.
• Apple Health: sleep sessions the app writes to Apple Health follow your Apple Health settings and are under your control there.
• Apple purchases: Apple keeps App Store purchase records under its own policies. FirstLight reads your entitlement through StoreKit and does not copy the transaction to an Orbit Tech server.
• Support email: we keep support correspondence only as long as needed to answer the request and maintain ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete it.

Export and deletion

• You can export your history from Settings inside the app.
• You can delete locally stored sleep, snore, and wake data from Settings inside the app.
• You can change optional permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
• You can turn off optional snore insights in FirstLight.
• Deleting the app removes its local app data. Data previously written to Apple Health remains under your control in Health.

Your rights

You may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information depending on where you live. Most FirstLight data never reaches Orbit Tech, so you manage it on your iPhone using the controls above. For support correspondence or another request involving information you sent directly to us, email the address below.

Children

FirstLight Alarm is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes that affect how the app handles data will also be called out in the app's release notes.
